HACK4PURPOSE

Phase 1 (Ideation):

• Applications open across India.
• Top 100 teams selected.
• Live presentations by all 100 teams in "Finale 1" (April).
• Phase 2 (Product Development):
• Selected teams join a platform for idea-to-product development.
• 6-month growth period.
• Online "Finale 2" (October) to showcase final products.

Finale 1:
1st Place: ₹1 Lakh cash prize for the best presentation.
2nd & 3rd Place: Special prizes awarded.
Top 100 Teams: Present their ideas and receive ₹25 Lakhs worth of support for development. All Participants: E-certificate for participation. Opportunity to use the DPurpose Foundation platform to turn their idea into a product.

• Undergraduate students in their 3rd or 4th year pursuing Engineering degrees MBA students
• Postgraduate students in their final year (of any discipline)
• All universities in India are welcome (except IITs, NITs, IIMs, and IISc) - This event focuses on encouraging innovation from universities outside major citie
• Minimum team size: 2 members
• Maximum team size: 4 members
• At least 1 female member per team (more women = preference)
• No limit on the number of applications per university

Hack from Seniors: Transform past student projects/theses into a business model, adding innovation and crediting the original creators.
Hack from Native: Develop solutions that benefit local industry and heritage, focusing on region's unique identity and challenges.
Hack from Us: Address global issues aligned with the UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) using provided data and information.
Hack from You: Propose own original solution related to any SDG, addressing global challenges with unique perspective and working together as a team to make a difference
